What Do Continued Positive Pregnancy Test Results After An Abortion Indicate?
Hi i had an abortion 3 weeks ago as my baby had down syndrome and other health issues. I was just over 14 weeks pregnant. I done a pregnancy test today and it still says positive. Could this be a new pregnancy as i really want a baby or isit just my hormones from the previous pregnancy??? If so how long will the hormones take to go??

This test stays positive after a while following abortion and should be decreasing. If it is rather increasing, at that time you need to be fully re-evaluated as this may signal that a pregnancy tissue is still hiding somewhere.
Let me know what test you are using and what the titers are. Also, when did you get the abortion?
