What Do Canker Sores After Oral Sex Indicate?

I had sex with a male 6 weeks ago. We had oral and I was receptive for anal. During anal we used a condom and he did not finish inside of me. I just developed what I believe to be a canker sore. I got HIV tested 3 weeks after exposure with a Clearview Rapid Test and it was negative. He also got tested at 4 weeks and his results were negative. Should I be worried?

Hello,
Welcom to Healthcaremagic.com.

There is no need to worry. Oral ulcers are mostly either traumatic or stress related sometimes if it gets infected that may cause delay in healing and patient becomes worried.
You must go to an orodental spacialist and get physically evalvated.
In HIV patients it takes years to develop periodontitis, it is never too sudden. So one thing is clear it is not because of HIV. Most important cause will be apthus ulcer which is stress related second thing may be gum infection because of calculus.
You must use the TRIAMESONOLONE ACETONIDE 0.1 %Locally on the sore 4- 5 times it will heal.
Regards
Dr Muzaffar.
