What Do Burning Bumps Near The Anus Indicate?

I have these bumps near my anus that burns and stings. Just started getting them a couple days ago. Ive had fever from 102, chills, body aches, excessive watery discharge now the discharge is yellow. Im having specks of blood when i wipe. I can eat but not alot. Certain things i normally eat are starting to taste strange. I thought i was mabe the flu i had until i started looking up my symtoms and it sounds like i have herpes. Please say its not what I think it is.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should not precipitate. Please follow up with a gastroenterologist. He/she will get a full physical examination of your anal area; run abdominal sonography, and anoscopy to determine the right diagnosis.

It might be a case of infected hair follicles or any other infection, or even abscess. By sure you need immediate medical help as you started to have fever, and that's not a good sign. Your body cannot handle on its own, but needs prescription meds.

Go to ER if cannot manage to see gastroenterologist as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
