What Do Bubbles In Urine Indicate?

I have recently been put on prednisone and I have noticed my urine getting bubbles in it. Not foamy but just bubbles. Should I be concerned? My dose was a higher dose at first with the taper down and then 5 to 10 mg per day. I have been on it since right before YYYY@YYYY

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

First of all, there is no evidence of Prednisolone causing bubbles in urine. Let me mention the possible causes for bubbles in urine :

1) If the bladder is fully loaded, fast flow of urine can cause bubbles which is a common cause but not persistently present.
2) Increased excretion of protein in urine which occurs in end stage kidney disease is another cause. In this urine is usually foamy. So, just get urine examination done once. If no abnormality, is observed in it, you can relax. Hope my answer clarifies your doubts. Any further queries, please write to us. Thank you for the query.

Take care
