What Do Bright Rapid Flashing Lights In Corner Of Eye Indicate?

I am seeing bright rapidly flashing lights in the corner of my eye. One was shaped like a backwards c and the others were just straight up and down flashes. When I try to focus on the flashing light it goes away. I also have floaters and one is really distracting .

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having flashes of light associated with floaters.
This requires examination to find out the common causes like vitreous degenerations, retinal tears, retinal thinning...
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination to find out the underlying cause by simple tests like indirect ophthalmoscopy.

Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
