What Do An ESR Level Of 105 And Shoulder Pain Indicate?

I m 60 year old and diabetic also had gone through both knee replacement 4 years back...I have got through ESR checked and it results 105 which is on higher side..my diabetes is also on little higher side...These days I am also suffering from pain in shoulders....Please tell what is the effect of increased ESR in my body and how does it cure

Let me explain few things about ESR ( normal 2-10 mm of 1st hour).
It is assumed that when ESR increases , there is anywhere any infection in the body .
This was previously recognized that raised ESR is due to any infection but now a days many doctors don't believe in this reading .
As you mentioned that your ESR is 105 mm it may be due to some chronic or acute infection in shoulder joint ( as you stated that there is pain in shoulder joint).
While diabetes is not any infectious disease , so this is nothing to do with ESR reading.
Increased ESR may be due to some disease but in itself increased level of ESR don't causes any bad impact over body.
