Hello,

How much is your serum creatinine? Are you suffering from any cardiac problem?

Yes hypothyroidism itself cause edema. If diuretics not helping means you have to take more dose diuretics. In case of stage 4-5 kidney problems may need dialysis.

So please consult with your nephrologist get it done serum creatinine and ultrasound of both kidney. According to the report he may treat you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
