What Could The Skin Tag On Lower Lip Indicate?

my husband had a "skin tag" on the inside of his lower lip..during the night it started bleeding.. he has gargled with salt water and now there is a clot of blood attached..will it hel by itself or any sugestions as to how to treat it..i bought a styptic pencil..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a skin tag like growth inside the lower lip that bleeds can be most probably a Hemagioma that is an arterio-venous malformation..
Other causes can be a fibroma that is a soft tissue overgrowth..

I would suggest you to consult a Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case of hemangioma you can be advised to apply sclerozing agents as it helps in regression of the hemangioma..
Surgical removal can also be done..
In case of fibroma surgical removal is the only treatment..
