What Could The Red Bumps On Thighs Indicate?

Last night I was jogging in pajama pants, the next morning on my inner thigh were small little red bumps. They reminded me of PUPPS that I had during my pregnancy. A few days later a little white heads were on the bumps and they itched and now they scabbed over. what is it?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems that you may be having folliculitis. It may be due to friction of thighs during jogging. It is an inflammation of hair follicles caused by frictional trauma. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Take rest and avoid jogging. Take a short course of antibiotics with anti inflammatory drugs. Apply antibiotic cream like gentamycine. Take bath with dettol containing water. Avoid soap. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
