What Could Stinging Pain While Urinating With Red Bumps On Penis Suggest?
I have a slight stinging feeling when I urinate. It feels like it comes from the bottom of the urethra. It lasts while urinating and for approx 20 minutes after. I also noticed a extremely red bump with a dark center on the head of my penis. I m not sure how long that has been there since I just noticed after the stinging started. I have a dr appt this week and wanted to know what to expect or what I should ask while there. Thanks.

The red bump on the penis with stinging pain while urinating indicate a possible bacterial or viral infection which can be sexually transmitted disease or else.
As already there is appointment booked with the doctor, the following measures can be carried out till that time
- keep the part clean with antiseptic liquid
- apply triple antibiotic cream as polybion or else 2 - 3 times a day
- plenty of liquids intake orally
- avoid sexual intercourse if active
- anti-inflammatory as ibuprofen preferably with antacid if there is no history of drug sensitivity.
