Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.

The symptoms that you are describing of shrinking clitoris and inner lips and lack of sensation in the clitoris are due to the effect of menopause. In menopause there is minimal amount of female hormones. The female hormones oestrogen and progestogen are produced by your ovaries. There may be a reduction of testosterone as well.

I have understood that you underwent hysterectomy 11 years ago, that means you had this surgery done at age of 32 years. Can I ask you why did you have this surgery at such an young age? You did not mention if the ovaries were removed or not. Even if the ovaries were conserved, you may have experienced premature ovarian failure (happens in a small percentage of women even when the ovaries are left behind).

Can I advise you to see a gynaecologist specialising in menopausal symptoms. He/she would evaluate you further and may be able to prescribe you hormone therapy for your symptoms, which can help you. You may even need bone protection.

I hope this answer has helped you.

Thank you
Regards
