What Could Reddish Testicles With Painful Penis Suggest?

My 3 year old grandson went to public toilet and bumped into the toilet and complained that he hurt his penis. His penis is fine but his testicles are red. Could he have caused some damage? I raised two daughters and don t know if this could result in problem.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Superficial infection like scrotal wall cellulitis must be ruled out. As of now consult a general practitioner and apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for symptomatic relief. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family physician
