What Could Protruding Lumps On Leg Suggest?

Hi, I have a 1" wide by 1/2" protruding lunp on the left side of my lower leg not in my calf muscle but next to it closer to the side/front of my leg. It doesn't hurt and is not discolored and is hard. I just got it recently. What can it possibly be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

do you have any history of trauma? how long has it been there? do you have any other symptoms aside from the lump?

it is best if you consult w a general surgeon or an orthopedic surgeon for physical examination. that "lump" might just be a cyst or a lesion with underlying pathology. further diagnostics (such as MRI or xray) would be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
