What Could Pregnancy Symptoms With Negative Result In HPT Indicate?
i am 41 years old, i missed my periods. Now i am 47 days. Preg test was negative which i took on 41st day. But i get weak. My appetite is increased... yesterday i was prescribed to take regestrone for 3 days. But another doctor told not to take any pills as it is common to have this problem at this age and may be the start of menopause. But I am not comfortable. I am not okay. Feel dizzy and nervous, irritable...
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Delay in periods with testing negative for pregnancy is a cause of concern. You may be going in for menopause and as a doctor has rightly said, and it is quite normal to have irregular periods. But till you reach that phase, it would be better to have your periods as regularly as possible. Hence, it is better you take the medication Regesterone what has been prescribed. After you get your periods, get your serum FSH, LH and Prolactin levels tested and consult Gynecologist for advise regarding medications to be taken to keep your cycles regular. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
