What Could Plural Thickening In The Cat Scan Report Suggest?
What does it mean if my Cat Scan shows Lung apices are unremarkable. Minimal apical pleural thickening is seen. There are mild left apical pleural thickening with small calcific density at the left lung apex.And:Alignment of the occiput with C1 and C1 with C2. The base of the dens appears unremarkable. No prevertebral soft tissue swelling is identified. There is straightening of the cervical lordosis. No cervical compression deformities are identified. Straightening of the cervical lordosis can be positional or due to muscular spasm. Correlate with clinical findings.Straightening of the cervical lordosis. See comment.No canal stenosis or significant neural foraminal narrowing. Minimal flattening of the posterior aspects of the discs at several levels. No focal disc herniation.

Cervical spine findings suggests mild degenerative disc disease of spine.There is minimal flattening of intervertebral discs at several levels.
There is also straightening of the cervical spine,it may be due to muscular spasm.At present you need rest,hot fomentation,analgesics and muscle relaxants.Try to correct posture,if it is posture related. Other findings are normal.
