What Could Persistent Abdominal Pain While On Treatment For Inflammed Lymph Nodes Indicate?
My 16 year old son is experiencing a strong burning sensation in his stomach. He was doubled over in pain so we took him to the emergency room on Monday night. After a ct scan with contrast, they said the lymph nodes in his abdomen were inflamed & he has a virus. (Hes had Diarrhea) They put him on meds, then we followed up with his doctor the next day. He is still having severe stomach burning tonight (which is the third day). What should we do?

I really appreciate your concern, this is the typical symptoms of hyperacidity and this can be well managed with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day it may be some time associated with protozoa infection and condition can be tried with "Tab Metronidazole 200mg twice in day for 7 days, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
