What Could Painful Pelvis With Bloating / Poor Bowels After Hysterectomy Complications Indicate?
I HAD A COMPLETE HYSTERECTOMY MARCH 11 OF THIS YEAR WAS RELEASED APRIL 30TH FOR WORK AND INTERCOURSE/ ON MAY 23RD HUSBAND AND I WERE HAVING INTERCOURSE AND OBVIOUSLY I FELT HORRIBLR PAIN LIGHT BLEEDING ETC. WENT TO HOSPITAL FOUND OUT AFTER CALLING DR. THAT VAGINAL CUFF TORE/ MY INTESTINES CAME THROUGH AND WERE ACTUALLY HANGING OUT OF VAGINA HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY ON THE 24TH ALMOST 24 HOURS LATER/ I AM STILL REAL TIRED NOT FEELING GOOD HAVING DIFFICULTY HAVING BOWEL MOVEMENTS AND RELEASING GAS/ I AM STILL HAVING PAIN IN HIPS HIP BONES SIDES BACK AND JUST NOT FEELING GOOD STILL/ I AM NO LONGER SEEING DR. WHO DID HYSTERECTOMY I AM SEEING A FEMALE DR. IN SAME MEDICAL GROUP/ SHE SAYS WHAT IM FEELING IS NORMAL/ I CANT HELP BUT FEEL OTHERWISE SOMETHING IS JUST NOT RIGHT AND MY DR. SAYS OTHER WISE I HAVE ONLY SEEN HER ONCE SINCE SURGERY I SAW HER 4 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY I DO NOT HAVE APPT. TILL JULY 10TH/ SHOULD I TAKE DR.S ADVISE AND WAIT OR SHOULD I INSIST ON GETTING IN RIGHT AWAY ?????

As you are finding difficulty in bowel movement, I would suggest a check up to see if any adhesions developed or if there is any other related cause. It is natural to experience these symptoms in the immediate postoperative period but not after so long. Increase dietary fiber, take plenty of liquids and adequate rest. Hope this helps.
