What Could Muscle Tightness And Pain In Hamstring And Knee Area Indicate?

I am experiencing muscle tightness and pain in the back of my legs in the hamstring and bend of my knee area but in the back of it. Sometimes i feel a twang type of feeling in that area behind my left leg? I m 58 but very active jogging and doing excercise dvd s lots of energy. I ve had sports injuries before but this is weird. I did lunge walking up a tall hill in August, and I stretch out everytime I workout after and it does involve this area but it started in my left legg behind the knee being kind of sore and puffy and now also the hamstring area on my right leg is starting to ache. Its been about the last 2-3 weeks but getting a little more painful. I have still been working out it doesn t hurt really when I workout.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Certain type of pain like joints pain muscular pain are very common after the age of 50 and that does not have any specific reasons, it could be due to geriatric problems, but that can be best treated with the general care, like little exercise, vitamin supplements, drinking sufficient amount of water, balance diet, this would come around, and not need to take any pain killing medicine, Vitamin E would relieve the pain, have nice day.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the defeciency of the sodium chloride, or calcium.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections, for 10 consecutive days, ofloxaci, diclophenac sodium, and calcium carbonate.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
