What Could Lump And Bruises On Knee Suggest?

I had what I thought was a pimple form behind my right knee. I tried popping it bit nothing came out, now this was a month ago. Today I hit it while scratching my leg & now it feels like a lump & bruised from the inside. It s now uncomfortable to walk. What could the spot be?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It could be possible bursitis.
2. You need to take rest. Apply cold packs to reduce swelling. Anti-inflammatory agents maybe necessary to reduce inflammation.
3. If pain is severe, paracetamol or other NSAIDs can be taken. If it persists, you would need an orthopaedic consultation with MRI for further evaluation.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
