What Could Itchy, Tender To Touch Bump On Head With History Of Having Migraines Be?

nullYesterday I woke up with a bump on the left side of my head. At first I noticed it because it was itchy. Then I felt a bump, I've never noticed before. It is tender to the touch and has began to throb a bit. It almost feels like someone is pulling my hair in that spot. I haven't hit my head and I'm starting to wonder why a bump would appear out of no where. I have had someone look at it and it appears to be read and swollen. I due suffer from migraines from time to time, so I am getting worried. I plan to see a doctor ASAP.

There is no likely connection between the bump and your migraines. The bump may be an area of infection, such as a boil or abscess. If that is the case, it will likely need to be drained. See a physician as soon as possible please.
