What Could High Thyroid Reading, Severe Neck Pain, Fever And Headache Mean?

I attended a diabetic clinic the other day at the Trafford Centre, due to a high thyroid reading. I was told that it is a viral infection I have probably got. I have had severe neck pains for 6 - 7 weeks. a fever, bad headaches and a feeling of generally being unwell.Bloods were taken, and I regret I did not ask what I was being tested for.I was made an appointment for 3 months time, which on reflection I find that in itself worrying. I wonder am I being taken seriously, it seems an awful long time to review someone. i have made an appointment with my GP meanwhile, and hopefully perhaps he can give me an idea of what is going on, and what the blood tests have shown. i notice meanwhile this morning that I have a rash, and I want to know if I should got the hospital, or attend a walk-in-centre?

You could have acquired an transient viral infection.. That is y you are being followed up for 3months because transient viral infections may resolve spontaneously on its own.. If it is not getting resolved then some action has to be taken..
