What Could Growing Sore Scabs On Arm With Bleeding And Drainage Spreading Below The Area Be?

My daughter had a small red area to come upon her arm. Over a period of days it started getting sore , bigger and it turned into a scab. It bleed just a little and had a scant amt of drainage. I put Neosporin on it and covered it up while she was at school it's now been going on three weeks the scab has gotten bigger. It's went from the size of a small pea to a half dollar. She now has 4 to 5 small red flat places scattered below the area just like this spot began. She has two spots underneath her arm that started out red spots and now they have scabs the size of a pencil eraser. The scabs are thick and bulky. She states her arm is sore feeling when she moves it.

Hi,

Scab you have mentioned is infected with pus formation. This can be due to bacterial infection or fungal infection. A course of oral antibiotics like cefexime and application of ointment containing antibacterial and antifungal medicine will help to reduce the lesion. To be on safe side, you can consult a local dermatologist.
