What Could Facial Numbness And Lymph Node Swelling Indicate After Quitting Smoking?

Hello i have been experiencing facial numbness on the left side of my face for a few weeks now that comes and goes. I take ibruprophen and it seems to help. My primary doctor doesnt feel that it is motor related. I also noticed recently that a lyphnode near my cheek on the same side is larger than the right. I do want to mention that i just quit smoking after 10 yrs and i am nervous that it is somehow related.

It is not due to quitting smoking. But definitely it is related to smoking in someway.
Smoking causes many types of lung pathology,infection and inflammation which may lead to lymph node enlargement.If this lymph node is large and causing compression on nerve, it causes numbness on respective facial area.
Smoking also cause some oral pathology and also causes enlarge lymph node and above problems.
However as a possibility both side same lymph node size may be different and normal.
Better to consult another physician and go through some investigation as advised and reach to conclusion.
