What Could Explain Tiredness Accompanied With Foul Smell?

Hi, I have been having a strange smell stuck in my nose for a while now. There seems to be no obvious pattern but I seem to notice it more when i am tired. I can t really define the smell but it is usually the same. I have read about everything from brain tumours to nasal infections, could you help me?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tiredness accompanied with foul smell. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to sinusitis . It can also occur due to dental infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan and do physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for a week along with decongestant and expectorant . Doctor may also refer you to dentist for oral infection . For now take steam , do warm saline gargles and maintain proper oral hygiene .
