Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Per se C-section delivery will not cause any discomfort to rib cage.

The current issue indicates possible gastric or intestine problem, gallbladder, bile drainage, liver or other problems; which must be evaluated with ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis or CT scan as per the choice of clinician.

Thanks.

Regards.
