What Could Dark Sore With Redness Looking Like Insect Bite In A Child Be?
spider bite on my 3 year old son
my son has what looks like some kind of insect bite. yesterday it was a dark sore with redness around the sore. today the sore has opened up and it looks a little deep. it still has the redness around it. what could this be and should i take him to the doctor?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having allergic rash with some infection due to insect bite.
Give him antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl syrup for 2 days.
If infection persisted then he might require one course of antibiotic as well.
Apply triple acting cream locally.
Ok and take care.
