What Could Cause Swelling Behind The Eyes?

Hi Doctor. My name is Sylvie. My husband as been experiencing smelling behind is eyes. More tests will need to be done shorthly to determine the appropriate treatment. His very much afraid that the illness if it' s get wost he could become blind. Does other country have a better cure?

Hello
It seems from the history that your husband is having swelling behind the eyes.
This is called as proptosis. This is seen in many causes. The commonest cause is thyroid ophthalmopathy. The other causes are space occyping lesions, tumors, cysts....
This requires evaluation by radiological tests like CT scan, MRI scan to look for the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hence I advice you to consult ophthalmologist for evaluation.
