What Could Cause Sore & Enlarged Cubital Nodes?

I went to the dr. last night for paranychia. They drained it and gave me an antibiotic and antibiotic cream. I woke up this morning and the inside of my elbow hurt. I figured out that it s probably the cubital nodes swollen. They are very sore to the touch and pretty large. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to swollen lymph nodes. It is a common condition after an infection. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to continue the antibiotic to treat the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
