What Could Cause Small Purple On Face And Earlobes?

Hy, my Son has small purple dots on both of his yearlobes and his face is covered in red small spots, he is 19 months and he has had purple dots on his year lobs before when he was a few months old. He does have a cold naw but it s not serious no coughing just a runny nose. He has also been taking isoniazid for 2 months as he was diagnosed with inactive tuberculosis . Could this be a sign that his kidneys are affected? I m looking for any kind of advice, thank you very much, valentina

Hello,

It could be a purpura. Purpura occurs when small blood vessels burst, causing blood to pool just under the skin. They appear as small purple spots just beneath the skin's surface. In most cases it will settle by itself. If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
