Hi,

Gastritis might take a while to go if it is viral gastritis it might take 5-7 days. I would advise you to go on with the treatment, make sure you do take a regular small amount of food and water and also avoid certain food like fast food, greasy food and coffee and alcohol during this time.

If you notice no improvement in a few days or you notice any worsening please see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
