What Could Cause Leg Cramps,weakness And Vomiting?

Hi my 6 year old child experienced very bad leg cramps on Monday night and Tuesday morning. he seemed o.k yesterday , but this morning was sent home from school as he vomited slightly in school , was very pale and nearly passed out ! ..Any ideas what this could be ?

A combination of muscular pains, and now vomiting and fainting - could be flu, a kind of virus, or something more serious. In any case, I would worry if he does not improve in the next 24 hours.
