Hello! / My father is 57 years old. Since June of 2011. He suffered from leg joints and hands, and in August the temperature rose from 37.2 to 38.5 degrees. Appealed to the rheumatologist, and he appointed treatment: polkortolon and meloxicam. 4 months, he took the drugs but the condition has not improved but rather with the 10th January 2012. again temperature rose to 39 degrees. Again, consult his doctor. We made various tests (complete blood count ESR-55-12.0 lekotsity, rheumatoid factor-200, everything else is normal), sonography and CT. It turned out that in his left kidney hypernephroma. Rheumatologists said that the joint pain associated with this problem, was diagnosed with paraneoplastic rheumatic polimealgiya and advised an urgent operation. 8th February 2012. removed the left kidney. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
