What Could Cause High Cholesterol?

I just was told I have high cholesterol (205) I run 5 miles every day, only weigh 115, but I don't eat all day until dinner and drink two Venti nonfat white mochas no whip from Starbucks daily. I rarely eat meat and I always eat salad at dinner. What could be the cause?

Hi,

Our cholesterol level are created by two factors;
1. cholesterol we consume with meal
2. cholesterol that produces our organism

the first one can be controlled with diet, the second one is not affected with diet. It is usually hereditary. If you have low cardiovascular risks, there is nothing to worry. If you have high cardiovascular risks there may be a need for medical treatment.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
