What Could Cause High BP(176/70) On Increasing The Dosage Of Lisinopril To 40mg Along With Severe Joint Pain?

my dr prescribed 10 mg of lisinopril. my bp was in the 116/64 range. he later raised to 20 mg. my bp changed to 138/65 range. he the raised to 40 mg. my bp goes as high as 176/70. my dr said he had never heard of this happening. I feel awful my joint pain is nearly unbarable. any suggestions?

The usual cause in situations is Kidney – especially narrowing of its blood supply
Consult a Nephrologist / get yourself examined / basic investigation – like Ultrasound and/or Doppler, kidney function are generally necessary...
