What Could Cause Heel Pain And Barge Heel Bump Post Right Calf Muscle Injury?

I have heel pain and have a large bump on each heel. Reading up on symptoms, it sounds like bursitis. The pain started gradually after I tore my right calf muscle 4 years ago. The right heel is the worst and when I walk it feels tight around the heel. Is it possible it could be Bursitis.

hello vikki,
I think you are having planter fasciitis or bursitis. I would advice you to get your x ray of heel bone. Some time abnormal bone can cause this type of symptoms. At present what you can do is to put your feet in hot water bucket for twice daily half an hour. Start calf stretching exercises, by standing on toes for 3 minutes for 30 times daily. You can take support from a table. You can also wear soft foot wear, avoid shoes and role of steroid injection is also there.
