What Could Cause Headache?

About week ago, I went to the ER, turned out to be a severe panic attack. For the following 3 days I had ice pick headaches in the same spot on the left side of my brain. Those headaches have stopped, but now my head feels very, there is pressure behind my eyes and it gets worse as the day goes on. Even if I close my eyes, it still is very uncomfortable. Not sure if symptoms are head related or eye related.

Thank you for choosing HCM

It seems that you have a migraine. A migraine is a recurrent type of headache which occurs again and again. A headache occurs because of dilated blood vessels in the head which lead to the pain.

A migraine also occurs due to a trigger factor. In your it might be stress from the visits to the ER. Usually, avoiding the trigger factor will help you. Here are a few things that you can do to help with the migraine:
Drink lots of water
Sleep well and get at least 8 hours of sleep a day
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil to clear the nasal passages
Take a Paracetamol 500 when you feel you are about to get a headache
Eat meals at regular times

Follow up after 5 days. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Hope this helps you
