Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have been have green and red specs in my stool. The gree is small like pepper and the red is a little bigger. My stool has been mushy and light in color, the odor smells as though I am dehydrated but I've increased my water intake by about 1 L/day. I am an RN. I've never seen spec in stool before. I'm thinking due to the light color it may be a pacrearic or gallbladder isuue, maybe a blocked duct. But I don't know where the specs are coming from. Maybe undigested food due to blocked ducts. Any suggestions or guidance would help. Thank you.
