What Could Cause Diarrhoea After Eating, Along With Vomiting And Fever, With A History Of Cholecystectomy?

I'm 28 female 6 months postcholecystectomy. For over a month I have had yellow/orange diarrhea after eating. In the past week and a half I have had nausea/vomiting. Now I am starting to run a fever 99.8 right now, I have chills. At first I thought flu but now I'm not thinking so. My doctor had no answers for me but did do some labs today.

Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare magic.
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns.
Initially, your problem was probably malabsorption resulting from indigestion of fat but now there is a possibility of an infection. I would suggest you wait for the laboratory results. But in the meantime, you can take acetaminophen (Tylenol) to control the fever.

I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you.
I wish you good health
