What Could Cause Diarrhea And Stomach Pain In A Child?
Sir, My eldest son is 8 years old now. Upto 4 - 5 years age he could not have fatty items, milk, egg, meat etc. Frequently he suffered from diarrhea and stomach pain. We consulted so many doctors at that time. Now though he has got relieved from pain with age but his health is not sound(under weight and unexpectedly thin). Therefore, I want to consult with the specialist related with this type of problems in reputed Hospital like yours. It may be due to gastroenteritis.
He may require complete hemogram, stool analysis after pediatrician consultation.
He may require antibiotics after consultation.
Keep him hydrated.
Give soft diet.
Watch for dehydration symptoms like dry skin and decreased urination
