What Could Cause Cold And Congestion?

hi my 5 mth old son has been congested for the past month and the dr told me he has allergies but im thinking that it may be something more serious after reading about adenoids . however he is teething is it possible for him to be teething with a cold?

Dear parent, teething usually diminishes the child's immunity and makes him more prone to developing cold. it is not possible for a 5 month baby to develop complications from adenoids. I agree with your doctor that there is an element of allergy. I recommend you give the child a mast cell stabilizer as singular sachets once daily for 14 days to relieve the allergy and congestion
