What Could Cause Choking In Throat After Receiving Cortisone Injections For A Cyst In The Wrist?

It has been a 4 days since I have received a cortisone injection into the cyst in my wrist and now It feels like something is stuck in my throat. I've tried gargling salt water and cough drops but that doesn't work. I do not have any acid reflux or any other symptoms except the obvious pain still in my wrist and forearm.

HI. There is a saying- anything under the sun including the sun can cause allergy. Alas, There is a rare possibility of local steroid injection causing this type of problem. But most probably this can be a real throat infection. I would advise you to see a Doctor, preferable an ENT Surgeon and get checked.
