General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Back ache with blood in urine can be seen during beginning of menstruation. This need not be a kidney problem. To exclude blood in midstream urine sample is noted microscopically.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
