What Could Cause Abdominal Pain, constipation, nausea And Loss Of Appetite?

im a type one diabetic, i ve had it for going on 20 years and over the past year i have been experiencing loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain and constipation almost every single day which is causing me to lose weight and feel sick daily. i ve seen a gastroenterologist and my primary care doctor and no one can tell me what is going on here and why i am feeling this way everyday. i ve had an upper gi endoscopy, a colonoscopy which 6 polyps were removed and multiple blood tests and ct scans with no answers so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ho.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of diabetes , pain in abdomen, bloating, nausea, loss of appetite and weight.
Gastroenterologist and PCP can not tell you the diagnosis and upper GI and Colonoscopy are normal.
My thought:
Diabetes causes changes all over body and particularly intestines causing a condition called gastroparesis - slowing down the intestinal motility causing all the symptoms.
These in turn can cause intestinal inflammation and infection.
I would advise you the following:
Get the diabetes profile checked and get corrected.
A course of an antibiotic can help.
Take probiotics.and multivitamins.
Get stool tests and CT scan of abdomen to get further diagnosis and management.
I find this answer helpful
