What Could Blood Dots On Ear Bud While Cleaning The Ear Indicate?

Yesterday I was drying my right ear by an ear bud and I found blood dot on the ear bud with almost no wax, today I was drying my ear again & I found more dots of blood, no pain except when I put the ear bud on a specific point in my ear. Thanks in advance

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

In reference to your query regarding blood spot on the ear bud during ear cleaning. Though your ear is not having any pain.

It appears as there is small abrassion in the skin of external ear canal, may be developed by hard and stiff bud and is bleeding which you have seen.

Second possibility is of ear polyp, as ear polyps usually bleeds on cleaning but in your case it is un expected because you are not having any ear discharge.

Third possibility with less chances is of bleeding disorder or Leukemia.

My suggestion is to consult ENT doctor for examination and necessary investigations to find out the real pathology.

Regards.
