What Could Be This Hard Lump Above The Larynx To The Left ?

I have a bump, or lump, it is hard and small, a bb sized lump on my neck. I noticed it shaving two weeks ago. I hoped it was an inflamed follicle but I don't think it is. it is hard and under the surface of the skin. It is above the larynx and to the left.

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding a hard lump on the left side above the larynx.

As your symptoms it appears to be an enlarged lymph node and other possibility is of sebecious cyst.

If it is enlarged lymph node than also one should like to know the pathological nature of lump than only treatment is possible.

You are advice for these investigations -

1- FNAC from lump.

2- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

3- X-Ray of chest and paranasal sinuses.

Beside this thorough ENT examination is must to rule out any primary site of lesion. After all above one may plan for treatment.
