What Could Be The Red Lump In The Nostril?

Hey, I seem to have this really big red lump in my right nostril, it is blocking at least 90% of my airwaves if not more, its not painful or sore and I do not have a cold. It has been there for a few months. What is it and is it harmful?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

Although it requires a physical examination of your nose by an ENT specialist, from your history, it seems to me that it could be a hepertrophied turbinate in the nose. For a confirmatory diagnosis, and a permanent lasting treatment, I would advise you to consult a ENT specialist in your area.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
