What Could Be The Recurring Mole On Back For Years?
I ve had a mole on my back for yrs, it always falls to pieces like dust or crumbs when I scratch it. Never bleeds.Always comes back, slowly though. It s about the width of a pea, but crooked & the center is dark & raised with edges that are a paler color & flat that look like a stain. I took a photo of it today & am a bit afraid, it s not round, it s shaped wavy & irregular & looks almost like a photo of a melanoma I saw on the internet. What kind of doctor am I supposed to go to? I saw a M.D last yr & he said go to a skin doc, but the skin doc said it s not his specialty.

Any mole which is there for long duration is always worrying.There is always a possibility of melanoma in such moles.However exact diagnosis can be made only on biopsy.Excisional biosy will be better.Consulting a plastic surgeon will be helpful.
