She is either having otitis externa (inflammation of the external auditory canal) or temporo-mandibular joint arthritis, both of these condition present with tragal tenderness and more so with the otitis externa. She has to examined by an ENT surgeon and appropriate medicines are to be given. Till you consult you can give her anti-inflammatory drugs like (ibuprofen/diclofenac). Avoid chewing hard food and particularly on the affected side.
