What Could Be The Reason For Sudden Rashes On The Chest And Top Half Of The Back In A 3 Yr Old?

Hi
My 3 year old son has a rash on his chest and the top half of his back. It looks similar to little insect bites. But they are not. There are quite a lot of them. I have just noticed them as he has just had a bath. Other than the rash he is a very happy healthy boy. Do you have any ideas as to what this could be?
Thanks
Angela

Welcome to HCM.
Most likely it could be due to some allergic reaction.
Might be due to bath soap.
Apply mild steroid containing cream locally.
You can give syrup levocetrizine to subside it.
Be watchful for next time.
Consult your pediatrician for further guidance.
