What Could Be The Reason For Having Vomiting, Heat Rash And Bump Under Tongue?

6 month old has 97.2 temp consistently for two day, throwing up occasionally and has what appears to be a heat rash on head and back. Perhaps unrelated, he has a tiny white bump under his tongue. Also has what looks like baby acne all under one eye, general fussiness and taking shorter naps and sleeping far less between wakings at night.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of the child seem to be related to a viral infection.

I suggest using Calamine lotion for local application on the rash.

I also recommend giving him liquids to maintain him hydrated and Pedialyte solution.

Baths can also be helpful in relieving the rash.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi, General &Family Physician
